Here are some photos I shot during a recent trip to the John Day Fossil Beds.
I only wish they could truly impart the stunning beauty of the area.
The upper left two pictues are of the spectacular Cathedral Rock and the upper right two are of the fossil laiden Blue Basin.
All four of the bottom pictures are of the phenomenally coloured Painted Hills.
